About The Artwork
This piece is about cutthroat business and how if we all stab each other in the back, no one profits. The title is a reference to a quote by Robert Hooke in 1676 “If I have seen a little further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants”. I named this piece Giant Slayer because I wanted to evoke the idea of someone killing the giant that allowed them to see so far and accomplish what they have. When I have displayed this piece I generally had the photo printed three at a time and displayed them an inch apart so that the viewer could see that the photo wrapped around on itself.
