About The Artwork

Made with Oil painting, non glazed, natural linen canvas. Superior quality of the chosen medium. History of fashion and costume, French XVIIth century style with a message. Close up reproduction of La Comtesse de Chartre by Elisabeth Louis Vigée le Brun. My intention was to give myself a try, observe, let go of any self pressure and judgment. Like many people, I started at the first lockdown. I had never painted before. Even less realism. My work is not perfect, nor even really accomplished. Voluntarily, the bottom of his face testifies to the end of those weeks of confinement, to the end of all that time we had dedicated to activities never explored. Unique artwork. Signed. Certificate.
