About The Artwork

From the series “Animal print” This painting is called Phobia not because of the way it looks. The hero of the picture is a beautiful, bright chair of an unusual shape, with bright upholstery and crystal lenses on the back. In the process of creating the picture, it turned out that for the drawing I want to use the wings of a butterfly instead of a pig's skin. The lenses on the back symbolize the lightness in which the prototype of the hero exists. When the work was finished - I understand this when it starts vibrating - or is it something vibrating inside me? - I realized that in front of me was not a butterfly, but a luxurious exotic spider….. I remembered my friend, who has an inexplicable fear of spiders - and could not deny myself the pleasure of naming a painting Phobia… It looks great

Artist’s life is a story in pictures. I paint throughout my life. Art school in Minsk, Belarus - I’m from there. Art College, Belarusian State Academy of Arts. It’s good way for an introvert to communicate with the world. I’m a story-teller. While I paint a picture, I manage to come up with a whole life for the heroes, get to know their friends and relatives, laugh at their good stories, sympathise with their bitter experiences. I don’t like to tell these stories somebody else, but I'm always curious about what people tell, what they see and feel. This is amazing communication, the most fun, closest and most intimate. I think good pictures work exactly like that. Like good books, good music, good wine. They connect a person with himself. They make our lives plentiful. They could be the first step towards a leisurely warm conversation between man and the universe
