About The Artwork

About my work: Part of my red hat collection. I wanted her plain but beautiful, I wanted her simple but sophisticated the colours few but strong but above all, I wanted her at ease with herself. I love the beauty, the feeling, the glow she generates, I tried to capture that glow with every brush or knife stroke A beautiful large simplistic but unique and elegant oil painting in strong yellow & red, and a soft white colour, I wanted a simple background I wanted the lady to stand out looking as if in a pose but I wanted her to look stunning, sophisticated and breathtaking,I think she is all of that. CUSTOM ARTWORK? I will be happy to create a unique custom piece of any size. I want my art to tell stories, vivid, exciting and thought-provoking. I always try to put something of myself in my paintings; in the form, the colours, the brush strokes, my feelings, my joy, sometimes my darkness but I hope mostly joy and happiness. I have sent my work to over 29 countries and some significant landmarks such as Berkeley Square in London’s Mayfair, 5th Ave New York, Malibu beach in California and from Washington to LA. Hong Kong, Monaco and Singapore, in fact, one of my best collectors are in Amsterdam which is not short of great artist or galleries; I’m very proud of that. I am continuously developing my style, hopefully keeping it interesting for you to come back for another visit! Don’t hesitate to contact me, and I will be happy to answer all your questions. Thank you for your interest hope you like it! Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings, making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today. Ta comes from humble beginnings, living out her childhood on the rural outskirts of Bangkok as a farmer's daughter. During her teen years, she worked sewing shirts in a Bangkok sweatshop, and it was during this time that she met an old street artist who invited her to his studio. This sparked her desire to become an artist, and since then, she has gone on to produce Abstract and Cubist paintings that have received international acclaim from art connoisseurs.
