About The Artwork

This is a painting of a stream that leads the eye to filtered light through the trees. Green tree branches mark the path and point to the horizon, as red leaves speckle the stream inviting the viewer to enter deeper. I wanted the red leaves to represent devotion, and the green branches as thoughts that either guid or create obstacles that must be overcome in the journey toward the light dappled trees on the horizon. The outer edge of the painting is painted black, creating a frame so no frame is needed (but a frame can be added).
