About The Artwork
The painting shows a girl in a yellow hat, surrounded by a night garden. The figure moves through a thicket of flowers and arches growing right from under the black ground. In the foreground, we see something like eggs and a few have already ripened and began to emit a multi-coloured smoke. I tried to show the volcanic power of newborn and not yet hatched objects. And most importantly, her white hair, which seems to play with the environment, is part of nature, just like the leaves are part of humanity. We are one. This picture is a part of series about a girl in the garden. Which was originally made for an exhibition of ''Soda Cat's Art Club’' in Tallinn.

Sergei Dragunov is an Estonian contemporary artist, mainly focused to find unusual shapes and forms for storytelling Sergei is a Tallinn painter who grew up watching MTV, reading science comics, and playing video games. Teeming with odd characters and abstract creatures, Sergei’s allegorical paintings can be both geometric and natural. In 2007, he began illustrating comic strips for the local weekly newspaper "Day by Day". After that works as Art director for several theatre performances: "Alice in Wonderland" and "Mechanical piano". From 2017 professionally works as mural artist on the Tallinn streets. In 2018 started focusing more on the fine art.
