About The Artwork
I was inspired by a black female jewelry designer of 'Adorn'. All of her items were so delicate and beautiful. I decided to look into more vintage jewelry with a modern twist. It brought me back to times of playing in my mother's jewelry box and seeing my grandmother's vintage earrings. Pure nostalgia. I chose to create a wash in the background using watercolor's that complimented the petals and the earrings. Layered and based everything in watercolor while refining the beautiful details with colored pencil.

Heather is deeply connected with her art and firmly believes her inspiration transfers to those who view it.
