About The Artwork

LIMITED SIGNED PRINT RUN I was in Djibouti working as an artist advisor as part of the USMC combat art program. I was there creating art for the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) while also training an active-duty USMC artist. This piece has been added to the NMMC collection. This is limited edition print run of 12 signed by the artist. This is 1/12. It is printed on archival quality paper by Giclee Printing of Pennsylvania. The sketch was drawn from photographs and sketches taken during Operation Alligator Dagger. The Marines are jammed into the back of an AAV in rolling, sweltering, dusty, diesel conditions. It was drawn on the evening of the same day to preserve the immediacy while I could still palpably feel the heat. LIMITED SIGNED PRINT RUN
