About The Artwork

LIMITED EDITION - 1/1 - Premium Canvas 123cm x 83cm (48.4in x 33in) Image on Premium 310g Canvas Rag Float Mounted with White Australian Oak Wood South Steyne, Manly - Sydney Australia 27th July 2018 - 6:40am Taken on one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen. A thin layer of smoke from burning off (to prevent summer bush fires) put a stunning pink hue to the sky. An amazing reward for getting up early! I have chosen a premium canvas to represent this image as standing in front of it melts you into the image. We then float framed the image in stained natural Australia Oak. Note: Paper Fine art prints available. NO OTHER CANVAS WILL BE REPRODUCED. EVER.

Tim Elwin, an Australian Accredited Commercial Photographer, Producer and Director who spends most mornings floating out at sea in the dark hours of dawn. With his camera in hand, he creates abstract images often verging between the real & a surreal. His art has been displayed in solo and group exhibitions including the prestigious Head On Festival 2020. Tim has also won countless awards for his photography and latest documentary, Distressed, which won him Best Director, Best Producer and Best Documentary awards at numerous film festivals across the world. After a horrific motorcycle accident in 2018 which left him permanently disabled, Tim founded the social initiative “Print For Print” which donates 50% of all his art sales to installing free biophilic fine art photography into hospitals. He has a goal to fill every room in every Australian public hospital with calming, inspirational art to support the mental health of patients and staff. Please support this initiative.
