This was mostly painted at evening standing next to the lighthouse at Montauk point, looking west at sunset when the clouds are the most interesting. The radar installation and the mound on top of the bluff, which was a WW II gun emplacement, connect the landscape to the recent past. The painting is on canvas mounted on wood and is ready to hang framed or unframed.
