What day was the worst day of school? Picture day. Duh. This painting is a visual interpretation of all the elementary school picture days that I showed up to, ill prepared with hair askew and a stained Pee Wee Herman tee shirt. When the photographer finally took my picture, the look on my face was always one of terrified confusion with a grimace, just like my friend Bib Fortuna in this painting.
