Not whitewashed in a generation, it sits otherwise as clean as the day Granny left it.... as if suspended in time, waiting for someone to return. I have always been fascinated by the human eyes.My traditional oil on linen portraits feature the subject's face--up close and personal.I envision that my artwork evolves in my mind's eye and is translated by my hands to the canvas. I am a native New Englander and I am married to a man with deep roots in the Great Smokey Mountains. We have two beautiful children. Much of the inspiration for my artwork is drawn from the experiences of our family, from the viewpoint of me-the Mother!
