This masterpiece is part of a series I have been doing on mental slavery and mental health. For the series, I used volunteers who shared what a mental illness they were facing at the moment felt like. I then used models and my visual interpretation to create images that symbolized what they described. This image is one about fear. Slavery can take many different forms. We all fight a certain demon that always seems to have power over us, and every time we succeed in fighting back, it always comes back stronger and fights us down again. This could be drugs, an addiction, depression, anxiety, amnesia, insecurity, low self-esteem, or some type of phobia. It can reach a moment that even when you are finally free from the shackles of your demon, you are still weak and vulnerable because you are used to being imprisoned. It takes a lot of time for one to finally realize that they have conquered the demon and are finally free as the scars all over remind us of the pains the demon inflicted on us. This is a visual image of a victim of slavery just set free. Their mind is still defeated and the main question they ask themselves is; Am I Free at Last? Get this masterpiece today and let it symbolize that moment when we were all set free from something we fought for long. Item is printed on paper and shipped rolled in a tube

Miaron Billy is an exceptionally talented award-winning documentary and fine-art photographer based in Nairobi, Kenya. Born and raised in Loitokitok, he started taking photos on his first camera phone as a hobby back in 2010, it took him studying Software Engineering at Kenyatta University, to realize where his true passion lies. Before he even had a camera, he dazzled many with photos taken on his phone while on a mission in Nigeria. I mean, how cool is that? It was at that time that he made up his mind to be a photographer. With little knowledge but a big ambition and passion, armed with a Nikon D3200, he started his journey into pro photography in 2016. Photography isn't just an art to Billy, no. It's a passion and a lifestyle. Even though he is a versatile photographer, his main interest lies in Documentary Photography. Billy's work has been published globally by organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Itel mobile, Sportpesa, National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), Africa Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC), KIWO Films, Foxton Media, EFC Italia and many more. For the last 4 years, Billy has been among an elite team of Red Bull photographers, mostly covering Sports Events. He is also a 5-star rated photographer and content creator at Fiverr, the world's largest freelance platform, where he works with international clients. Billy has been doing solo and group exhibitions globally where he shares authentic African Lifestyle Photos and also uses photography to tell the success, challenges, and daily life in Africa. What makes Miaron Billy stand out is his ability to have a professional personal relationship with his clients and everyone he works with. He oozes inspiration and so much unearthly talent.
