I created this artwork as a reminder of a brave and peaceful protest by a Ukrainian woman. She approached an armed Russian soldier with sunflower seeds in her hand, and said: "Put these seeds in your pocket so sunflowers will grow here when you die". The proceeds from the sale of the original artwork were donated to the Red Cross in Ukraine. The prints are available to buy through Saatchi Art. Thank you.
