About The Artwork
The artwork "Cura" depicts the back of a woman submerged in water. The painting holds special significance for me. In January 2023, I began investigating the possibility of breast cancer, which was confirmed in March of the same year. During the investigation period, I tried to paint, but nothing seemed good. I started the painting "Cura" during this process, and it was the first canvas I managed to complete in 2023. Only after nearly finishing the painting did I realize I had depicted breasts immersed in water, an element that symbolizes healing. Overall, "Cura" is a work of art that invites contemplation and raises awareness about the healing powers of the water element, while offering a visually striking representation of the female back submerged in vibrant colors.
