My name is Denis. I am from Russia, but I left it and since then I have been living in different countries. I work as a freelance photojournalist and shoot for independent media. I have always been more interested in documentary photography. This is probably one of the reasons why I like to photograph the world around me, observe the life of the city, the distinctive features of the place where I am. Trying to notice details, situations, moments. Sometimes it can be observation, sometimes it can be spontaneity, as happens in my work as a correspondent. I am a self-taught photographer and can be said to be completely new to this. I'm interested in experimenting with shutter speed, light, exposure, and sometimes quite sharp framing.
