All Art work is signed, dated and stamped and catalogued. About the "˜Early Light' project: With previous exhibitions in Europe and Ireland, Bean's work relies on a more primitive sense color, flow and form, and explores the zone between the daylight and artificial light. Challenging as it does mainstream Photography by veering away from the norm and, with an unforced commitment to the abstract, his work reflects a rejection of pictorialism. "It may be helpful to think of the images in the Early Light project as naturally occurring landscapes rather than as avant-garde abstracts. As you walk through the countryside landscapes reveal themselves, and if the light is suitable they may present themselves as pertinent photographic images. The images in "˜Early Light' reveal themselves in the same way.
