"Let me shake your hand." Although I am a bit of a lone wolf, I am not afraid to meet new people or face new adventures. Because I am fearless, people would probably not describe me as shy. However, I am timid when it comes to talking about myself which is best expressed through painting and creating. I do know I am on a journey " to thine own self be true," and I am inviting you to come along. Perhaps it began as a child when I retreated from the big family noise to a quieter, more friendly place of drawing and coloring. Born in LA I was fortunate to be exposed to art of the great masters and contemporaries. This is where my love of the inspiration from art, music, writing and the theater was planted and I knew I wanted to be that kind of inspiration for others. Although I had many great teachers and diligently took in the lessons on technique, color, composition, etc., like most people I enjoy the process of learning through experience, without a formula in order to keep spontaneity alive. My brain is constantly bursting in creative synapse.
