I am so happy to see you here! I am an intuitive abstract artist based in Vermont. My art has no predetermined outcome, as it begins with meditation, a word, or a thought. Many times nature finds its way into the painting – a flower, a tree, an animal, or humans going about their day. But the process is the same, the child's play of mark-making, followed by the colors of experience, then the acceptance of what remains to be seen as well as the importance of breath and space. I often paint on substrates other than canvas or art paper. I love finding forgotten rolls of wallpaper at tag sales or at thrift stores, as the heavier, unpasted papers are sturdy and offer a pleasing upcycled surface for my acrylic paints.
