Jeanette van Dun is well-known for her quirky portraits, where the atmosphere is determined by her special use of color and lines. Her works are created from a great imagination. Works that you don't just walk past. The spectator certainly needs a little more time to absorb the essence and the special atmosphere................................................. In addition to her familiar, surrealistic work, a new series of copies of old masters are being realized. The search for techniques of those old masters arose from the fascination with a number of portraits that were sometimes created centuries ago. The search for layering in paint, brush strokes, use of color and tonal values. These works are copies of the original works.
