Born 1963 in Katowice (Poland) lives and works in Germany and Poland since the early 1980's; numerous exhibitions and participations at home and abroad. The main emphasis on her artistic work are landscapes and persons, vedute, natural phenomena as well as portrait painting. Although stylistically obliged to expressionism Mauga does not follow the political view of most classical expressionists. The theoretical foundation of her art is the polish colourism which - without further compliance with political or social context - rather has the painting at its aim. Numerous works in private and public possession, eg.: Federal Ministry for the Environment, Berlin / Landtag (State Parliament) of North-Rhine Westphalia / City Halls of Krefeld and Duisburg / Stadhuis Venlo / Archivio Internazionale Permanente Opere di Piccolo Formato Venedig / Siena Art Institute Membership in BKK (professional association of artists) Duesseldorf, GEDOK Cologne and many other art societies and artists associations.
