A body of work exploring the artists journey through life, similar to the native Aboriginal people of Australia. Carol explores and traces her steps using a line, in this instance a curved line. Lines can merge, smudge, be sharp/hard, soft and irregular, just like a life journey, when gathering experiences, joy or hardship.This work is acrylic on stitched canvas(linen). So the painting surface has a beautiful varied texture. This painting is ready to hang, the edges are painted silver with a repeating dot which symbolises the journeys end and may still be framed if you desire. Protected with a sheer layer (satin) of uv varnish for protection.
