Paul Wong Born in 1962. The characteristics of people's childhood are always innocent and cute; when people grow up some people are to demonstrate deceitfully, and even impious. Art to people are always a type of exploit, resulting in being deceived. This type of deceiving in art has its damaged art in its resource, like the world's over-exploitation of natural resources carries the same conditions. Can world of art strip away its hypocritical and deceptive outer skin? Is art able to carry out some non-political, non-bordered, non-religious, non-attached, non-decorative, non-complex independent exploration, so that it is natural and free to express. Can art keep its natural character? True and sincere from a person's personal feeling. This is what I have always wanted to chase. I love all natural life forms at their natural conditions, and have always liked to find ubiquitous presences of artistic elements around, this is like how I think art is suppose to be presented and expressed naturally. My paintings are about expressing the elements at natural state, knowing how to reconstruct its composition, and the relationship between paintings and sculptural languages.
