His work centers on the narrative potential of figurative art by exploring the emotive introspective states of fragility, dualism, conflict, identity and irony. He pursues images of resolve, and surrender in order to attain personal peace. While many of his works are grounded in realism, he often explores modern aesthetic sensibilities of contemporary paint application techniques, mixed media and expressionistic experimentation.
