NZ, but living in Amsterdam. I fell through 'The Gaps', and it happened quite early in life. I never found a way back to a grounded reality after leaving it, nor do I particularly want to. It feels unnatural to be something I'm not, I guess. So here I am, Gap Dweller. I left home at 17. Been working at bars since then, learning life from people who turned out to be functioning alcoholics. Etc When I was 16 I lived in Japan. I became fluent in Japanese and did calligraphy every day and you can see that influence now in my art. I make my own paint pens using dripper bottles and ciggy filters. I modify paint brushes to suit my needs. Etc
