In each painting, he demonstrates the desire to be a mediator, to convey on canvas a vivid feeling of “the liveliness and fragility of nature and people.” His painting materials – oil and acrylic - are the most important means of conveying impressions. Life turned out in such a way that he used the skills acquired at the Siberian art academy only 40 years later, when he settled in Serbia. The secluded lifestyle in the countryside in Serbia, among mountains and vineyards, became the inspiration for his return to painting.
