The Farne Islands is a haven for seabirds, gannets, Puffins. Cormorants and Shags. It is possible to observe them quite closely as the nest though they are never still. I love to paint the seabirds of this area but mostly in watercolour because it it so much more immediate than oil paint or Acrylic.
