Evanescence Painting

Anastasia was born in Russia. She is self-taught painter. Her passion for painting is not accidental and she feels like a successor of the unrealized artistic potential of my family members, who, despite their artistic education, have chosen another profession. She have only one reason to start paint and it is LOVE - LOVE for colors, undeservedly forgotten in her youth. Several years ago she returned to paint. Its was spontaneously, but brightly and forever. Passing through emotional upheavals, painting became her new abode and she felt a real emotional connection with colors, which had never been there before. They became her shining light at the end of the dark tunnel, strength and inspiration. And theyare still an inexhaustible source of energy. Pictures have become a material continuation of her mind. Anastasia love city lights and different shades of electric light, she inspired by bright sunsets and sunrises, lightning and sparkle of lights in the water. Therefore her paintings are so bright and luminous, in the literal and figurative sense of the word. In the work Anastasia use not only standard acrylic colors, but also paints with different effects that reflect different shades depending on the lighting. She paints in a cubist style on the verge of surrealism. The emotional content of the works, silhouettes and forms are a reflection of contemplation about life, sense of life and attempts to penetrate the secrets of her subconscious.
