Pawel Myszka, a painter and graphic artist - born in Warsaw in 1977. He received artistic education at Wojciech Gerson’s State School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the European Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He holds a Master Degree of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. He graduated with honors under the supervision of Professor Mieczyslaw Wasilewski in 2002. He learned painting in the studio of Professor Ewa Pełka. Paweł Myszka’s works have been exhibited at such artistic events as:International Poster Biennale, Polish Poster Salon, Lodz Design Festival. In 2009 he designed a postage stamp commemorating the 65th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising which was awarded I prize in the category of combined techniques at the Competition of Government Association of Postage Stamps Manufacturers in Brazil in 2010. At the end of 2014, having worked as a graphic designer for 11 years, he decided to quit work and take up painting. Since 2015, Paweł Myszka has been living and working in the seaside village of Dźwirzyno. He paints abstract paintings in acrylic and oil techniques, inspired by alternative music, street art and abstract expressionism. He also creates portraits that make use of motives known from pop culture. In some works you can find the atmosphere of psychedelic cartoons that the artist remembers from his childhood in the 80s (e.g. French series "Les Shadoks"). An element of chaos and improvisation is vital for Paweł Myszka’s painting, as it is based on the joy of creation and it adds energy to any piece of art. Paweł Myszka, artysta malarz i grafik – ur.
