Kriss owned and operated Artistic License Art Gallery in Waterbury, CT and featured artists working in a myriad of mediums and styles. While operating the gallery he successfully implemented Oil Drum Art into the Greater Waterbury Community and the Waterbury School System. As well as creating, planning, and organizing the First Greater Waterbury Art Show. He even created, planned and organized the MDA basketball tournament sponsored by the NALC. You may have seen his work hanging in Woodbury Ski Area or at Carlito’s in Woodbury, CT. Maybe you have seen him creating paintings at the Mattatuck Museum while the Jazz Bands are playing, or perhaps you caught a glimpse of his Chromadepth 3D painings at Timexpo. He has also organized and participated with the artists at Waterbury Wine Walk and The Gathering in Waterbury, CT. Public art of his can also be seen on display in the form of tapestry or murals. After having a successful portrait business for many years, Kriss is ready to dip into different styles of art and explore his potential. Throughout his experience as a visual artist Kriss has welcomed influences from other artists in an attempt to break away from the Realism he is accustomed to and he has recently been working in more colorful, vibrant, and abstract styles in different mediums. This change has gotten him recognition in the European Market . He has been invited to have his paintings exhibited at Castle Hubertendorf in Austria and from there they go on to the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris France.
