Boluwatife Okewale was born on the 27th of August and hails from Oyo Town, Oyo State. He spent his formative years in this vibrant and culturally rich city, which greatly influenced his artistic journey. Boluwatife attended Emmanuel Alayande College of Education in Oyo, where he pursued his passion for art. In 2018, he successfully obtained a Nigerian Certificate in Education (fine and applied art) which further honed his skills and knowledge in the field. After the completion of his education he went ahead on acquiring more knowledge from his mentor Dr. Babarinde who happens to be an Art teacher, Graphics designer, Art historian and painter where he learnt and acquired more skills on painting and Design . Boluwatife is a talented mix media artist, known for his unique style and creative vision. His preferred mediums of choice are acrylic and charcoal, which he skillfully applies to canvas and inscription of a pattern at the background to make his works unique and different. Through his artwork, Boluwatife aims to capture the essence of his subjects and convey their stories in a visually captivating manner. With a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life, Boluwatife’s works of art are a testament to his passion and dedication to his craft. His pieces evoke emotions, provoke thought, and serve as a medium for self-expression and exploration. Boluwatife’s artistic journey continues to evolve, and he looks forward to sharing his creations with the world.
