Anastasia Avraliova (b. 1988, Belarus) is a figurative painter and graphic artist currently residing in Tbilisi, Georgia. Her artistic practice centers on portraiture, delving into the complex relationship between external appearance and the inner dimensions of human existence. Through her work, she explores themes of memory, identity, belonging, and the mystical encounter between human and nature. Anastasia’s background in monumental art—spanning church murals, mosaics, stained glass, and interior canvases—deeply influences her contemporary work. Her style blends geometric forms with childlike sketches. This dynamic allows her to harmonize structure and composition with spontaneous execution, creating art that invites warm, empathetic dialogue and reflects on the presence of individuals in the world. Working primarily from life and direct observation, she captures the states of her models, using color as a key tool. Her works are created with a variety of mediums, including acrylics, watercolors, pastels, colored pencils. Anastasia’s art is held in private collections across Belarus, Poland, Russia, Georgia, France, and the United States.
