ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Here we see Vladrushka and her lovely (adult) daughters in a typical day of work in the studio, and a very active day it is today! But if you love your work, you're not really working, are you? And Vladrushka and her family love their work. The only problem is Vladrushka's notorious habit of messing up takes right at the last moment, forcing everyone to redo everyone. Sometimes her director, Yuri Myshkin, suspects she does this on purpose, but she strenuously denies this charge as they begin the 68th take of this scene.
