Hi Friends! My name is Alyssa and I'm a 34-year-old artist from Calgary, AB. I spent the last decade working in marketing, specializing in branding and graphic design. However, everything changed when my mom got sick. I quit my job to care for her and it was the hardest year of my life. I not only lost my mom, but also my best friend and my relationship with my dad effectively ended. This difficult time led me on a mental health journey where I discovered the healing power of art, qigong, and meditation. Art became an outlet for all the emotions that I was experiencing as I processed and released all my trauma and healed old wounds. Through my art, I found a way to express myself and heal my heart. Now, I want to use my art to spread positivity, love, and mental wellness to others. That's why I started my Etsy shop.
