Oscar L Alexander

Oscar L Alexander is a Nordic artist working in many mediums, mainly with paint, photography and sculptural work.
He has worked in the creative industry his whole life, most time spent working in fashion, ranging from creative director of fashion magazines to modelling and hair & makeup artistry, which finally led him to photography.
He draws his inspiration from, anatomy, emotions, history, nature and textures, which you can clearly see in his work. Many artworks have their roots in his own life experiences, trying to normalise talking about mental health and also not only normalising, but desexualising the nude body. People often say that his work is very multi layered, that every time you look at his artwork you end up discovering something new.
After living in many countries and cities, including London for over a decade, Oscar’s studio is now based in Barcelona.
