I am Meena Subramaniam, an Indian artist based in India. My art journey is rooted in a lifelong love for nature’s beauty, which I express through vibrant, luminous paintings.Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, I create bold and joyful works that celebrate two main themes: the serene spirituality of lotus ponds and the exuberant biodiversity of tropical rainforests. From glowing pink lotuses on tranquil waters to lush jungle scenes filled with exotic birds, orchids, and Birds of Paradise, my paintings blend contemporary illustrative realism with heightened color and positive energy.Deeply inspired by Indian wetlands, sacred lotus symbolism (representing purity and resilience), and the rich natural landscapes around me, I aim to infuse every piece with optimism, peace, and wonder.
