Just Do It Painting

Born in Lyon I grew up in Austria in an artist community. I discovered oil painting there at the age of 5. Ever since my love for this form of expression kept growing. My life took me to several countries and occupations. I lived in Germany and Spain were I worked as an actress, clown and barmaid. Today I am living in the south of France in a small city called Alès. My motivation to paint comes from the images that pop up in my head. They are my way to cope with my experiences, my hopes, my dreams, my fears, my questions, like metaphors or tales. When I see them before my inner eye, I feel the need to share them and show them to others and so I set to work. For me painting is an act of love! Painters that inspire me are: Lucian Freud, Jenny Saville, Benjamin Björklund, Felicia Forte, Frances Bacon, Adrien Ghenie, Alyssa Monks
