This painting began as a pixel-like study in implied spatial relationships, but evolved into a rather menacing image suggestive of micro-organisms like those constantly challenging our amazing immune systems. The painting is acrylic paint on natural linen canvas, requires no framing and is wired for hanging.

I studied painting, drawing and color with Josef Albers at Yale University and have recently returned to full time painting and drawing after a career in Graphic Design. My work is in many private collections and has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art Lending Service, the Neuberger Museum, the Flinn Gallery and Anelle Gandelman Fine Art. In 2008 I was an artist in residence at the Albers Foundation in Bethany, Connecticut.
