ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Nymph Garden" is inspired by Picasso's quote "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." While exploring painting that retains some sort of childlike innocence, I had deliberately chosen flowers in a deep forest green garden as my subject. The stroke of each petal encapsulates the clumsiness and excitement of a child. It serves as a tribute to my curiosity for flowers and bold striking colours.
