The inspiration for the painting "Poppies" came from my experiences over thirty years ago, while conserving thirteenth-century wall paintings in Świerzawa, Lower Silesia, Poland. The technique I employed involves placing colored dots side by side so that, from a distance, the colors visually blend in the viewer's eye. This method allows the restored areas of the frescoes to gain vibrancy and texture, closely resembling the original. The "Poppies" painting, created using this method, is set on a polyurethane foam substrate coated with acrylic mortar. This is a modern, durable, and lightweight material that harmonizes perfectly with the chosen technique. The artwork emphasizes the delicacy of poppies, their finesse, and lightness. Pollen drifting in the wind and the entire meadow quivering with the heat of a summer day are expressed with extraordinary precision, making the work pulsate with the energy of a warm day.

Reflecting on my years of artistic activity, I see a growing interest in various technologies. This fascination has been shaped not only by fulfilling private and public commissions but also by a sensitivity to the diversity of materials. Stone, bronze, stainless steel—each fascinates me in its own way, as do glass and stone mosaics. I value the malleability of materials such as clay or plasters, which each time provoke a different style of expression and new themes. My education at the Faculty of Conservation of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow opened the door for me to work with top-class monuments, including Gothic wall paintings and archaeological artifacts from the 12th century. Since the 1990s, I have been creating sculptures in granite, stainless steel, and bronze. I have also had the fortune to collaborate with architectural teams implementing my concepts for large public utility buildings, including interior design projects. My work includes mosaics, stained glass, and a special technique I developed for melting glass reliefs. I have also engaged in digital design of stone objects, realized using CNC technology. In my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate on the relocation of a historic wooden church and the creation of a Cultural Park. I have created outdoor and garden sculptures. Currently, I focus on designing systems and acoustic panels for facades and interiors. I am a co-author of five patents for rigid, fire-resistant sound absorbers, as well as designs for 3D printing heads. I am also involved in an ongoing project concerning the production of parametric formwork by 3D concrete printing. I am passionate about new challenges, discovering unknown areas, and working in a team with the best specialists. I am always amazed at how much experience and knowledge can be accumulated by focusing on the details.
