This wall painting is created as a “Special Commission" that this would need to be executed in person. And this available only to individuals space in London at the moment. Interested about the process? Please have a look to my previous interview for making wall painting in Saatchi Gallery, London which will be more clearly the whole process of this artwork. Link: If you prefer this work made in canvas or paper, I’m also open to discuss further more details about this. Please write down your requirement with us. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meditations on movement.... The use of line in Ling’s works is at once diaristic and abstract, descriptive and opaque, creating unique rhythms across time and space. The relationship between each line presents a dialogue and meditation on movement.which gradually becomes visible though impressions of thoughts, interacting through reduction and amplifi cation.

Yi Ling Lai ( b.1997) lives and works in London and Taiwan. Drawing on both eastern and western traditions, Ling has developed her artistic practice of Chinese calligraphy, paintings and drawings. She combines these traditions to explore ideas, systems and experiences of languages and its limits. Her practice tests both the restrictions and possibilities of traditional Chinese calligraphy to explore themes of desire, ambivalence and obsession; subjects that are typically considered impossible to express in traditional Calligraphy.
