The Cube Painting

Joseph Hawa's extensive background in art includes a degree from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, with further studies done at Northwestern University, A California resident since 1975, he paints both outdoors (en plain air) and in his studio, with subject matters that includes landscapes, figure drawings, corporate art, geometric and commissioned works of all kinds. The artist paints in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics and watercolors, and his paintings vary in style and color from bright to subdued. Some of his works are available in signed and numbered limited edition giclee prints. "I believe the feelings and emotions expressed in my painting are much more important than the subject matter.
