Artist Ecker calls his latest work, which is part of his "Abstrait des Collages" project, "Schweinehund". The title of the painting, "Schweinehund", evokes unintentional associations with the inner struggles and baser instincts of human beings. Ecker draws attention to the nuances of human nature, which often oscillates between temptation and reason. The multi-layered depiction conveys psychological depth and entices the viewer to reflect on the struggle between light and shadow, between good and evil. The composition captivates with its balance of darkness and lightness and symbolizes the inner conflict and the search for a higher self-control. Ecker's "Schweinehund" is a tongue-in-cheek allegory for the constant struggle between individual weaknesses and the quest for inner strength. With "Schweinehund", Ecker succeeds in creating a captivating and provocative work with his cross-disciplinary techniques that captivates the viewer's attention. The depiction of the transformation of destructiveness into strength and positivity is a tribute to the complexity of human existence and a reminder of the need to confront one's own inner demons.
