Gone Berserk Painting

Berserk in some translations means "bear shirt" or "bear skin". To go berserk means to act insanely, ferociously or with animalistic rage. Berserkers from Norse mythology would go into battle under a trance-like state wearing these animal skins and tapping into the spirit of these animal warriors, terrifying their enemies. This painting is small but mighty! Warm orange, yellow ochre, browns and red are featured in a background full of tonal movement. The bear itself has hues of the same, in addition to blues and greens. Antique liquid gold leaf embellishments finish the bear off, and stain the included wooden frame.
