Erik Satie, challenged the conventions, not only for eccentricity, but for the creation of musical pieces characterized by their stripping. Precursor of the impressionist harmony, surrealism, minimalism and even the Theater of the absurd, was the creator of a musical style that would have the purpose to create a vibration, without imposing itself, taking care of the silence, to have the same paper as the light , warmth and comfort in all forms - the Ambient Music. In the first performance of Musiques d'ameublement, the audience, following the conventions of the concerts, insisted on listening to the musicians and listening in silence, Satie, furious, shouted: Speak, move! Do not stop listening! At the time it just seemed like a joke, prompting Satie to try to drive the presents out of the room.

It is in the painting that finds expression of the passions, emotions, freedom and time, through themes that fill and mark his life, from Music to Philosophy, manifested in canvas of color and light. It is the constant search for a language capable of sharing and externalizing ideas, which follow a flexible path, a world of experiences, that begin with the author and continue through the observer who interprets and unveils them.
