ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is part of a series I made in 2020 when, facing the social distancing, my studio grew towards the garden. During this time I planted some of the food that my family and I eat. I consider food and cultivation as part of my artistic activity. I wanted to make a painting using pure red color, so I found that a recently collected pomegranate perfectly matched this idea! It is made on Arches paper 100% cotton. The edges of the paper are handcut. It will be securely delivered rolled in a tube.
