ABOUT THE ARTWORK
It is a study of a still life. Flowers are lit with warm light with strong and deep chiaroscuro.The whole is kept in orange, red and deep black of shadows. It is an elegant, minimalist and sophisticated painting. It has an energetic but also warm and cozy atmosphere. Painting of this work of art was a long process: one year of patient application of successive semitransparent layers of paint. It is very laborious and time-consuming technique: each subsequent layer of paint is applied on the already dried layer. But thanks to them the painting has its depth and luminosity.
