Lale Artwork - Limited Edition of 10

Tulip is one of the living symbols of Istanbul. During the tulip festival held every year in the city, almost every part of the city is decorated with tulip flowers and cultural events are held. People intensively participate in these events during that week. This flower, identified with Istanbul, also gave its name to a period in the Ottoman Empire. In my works, I separated the tulip flower from all its historical and cultural meanings, treated it as a flower, and created various aesthetic fictions by abstracting it. I used photographic images in my works. My works are designed as digital prints on fine art paper.
