ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Italian region where I live - Romagna - has a beautiful landscape in all seasons: especially in summer, when the light is very strong but always pleasant. I really love walking in the valleys and admiring the changes in the landscape with the changing seasons. This picture was painted in the height of summer from the hill along the road that leads from Sogliano to the plain and the sea. On the right you can see the modest church of Santa Maria Maddalena which is located on a hill from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. In summer the light is dazzling and the sea has a hundred shades of blue.
