ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a photograph that I shot inside of an abandoned hospital, down a long hallway with several doors. Inspiration came to me with the doors, and being contemplative. We have many doors/opportunities that come our way in life -- which do we choose? The art piece is a photo transfer (toner-based) into an encaustic medium, onto a broken wooden panel surface.
